Overview

Baseball and wood have a rich history, beginning in the 1840s when the first wooden baseball bats were used in America’s favorite sport. The K Street Championship Boxes, a premium suite and one of the most exclusive clubs at Nationals Park in Washington, DC, wanted to create a historically inspired space with a look and feel reminiscent of a beloved pastime. P+R Architects chose Carlisle wide plank White Oak hardwood flooring with a lightly brushed texture and a custom stain, handcrafted in New Hampshire, to bring the past to life.
