We offer 10 species of hardwoods, 3 species of pine and 6 types of reclaimed hardwood floors, each with its own personality, density and variation in grain patterns. We offer a choice of grades as well – our Original Grade features more knots, mineral streaks, in-grown bark and color variations, while our Heirloom Grade features less character and more clarity for a more consistent appearance. And the width of your floorboards may vary from 4” to 20”, depending on the species of wood you choose.
You’ll have the choice of structure as well. With our solid floors, each plank is cut from a single piece of timber. Our engineered wood floors use a top layer of hardwood that is adhered to multiple layers of Exterior-grade Plywood to create a strong core that is resistant to temperature and humidity changes. Engineered floors are ideal for installations below grade, on concrete slab or over radiant heat. You’ll also have a choice of texture that can help to give new floors the appearance of surfaces that have been walked on and lived on for generations.
